I can't believe my last announcement had the Spring schedule! I have been lax in communicating...but better late, than never, here is my Fall 2004 schedule. Less festivals this time, more at home. I'm a bit travel-weary.

Here are some permanent exhibits and other fun stuff going on:

• Henderson City Hall has selected works from several artists on display. One of my original blocks is proudly presented there.
• CAT Buses (Citizen's Area Transit) - My artwork was chosen to be placed in buses along with poetry through 2005 - The reception is Wednesday, September 29th
• Van-Go Clark County Cultural Transportation vans will sport my artwork through 2005!

Thoughts and ramblings:

This summer I took the time to make a diary entry that goes something like this...

By the time the sun peeks over the Eastern horizon I've been on the road an hour plus change. It's a habit; the day I go back home I like to be ahead of everyone, even the sun. Invariably I awake in the quiet, load up and head on home with a song in my head--only in my head, because at that time I dare not disturb the silence of the desert dawn.
At that early hour, there is no traffic, no trucks to contend with, no tourists, no lights to stop my steady progress. Later, the town awakes, but by then I'm between the unlikely towns of Yerington and Hawthorne enjoying the first shy light and the empty road; not a breeze blowing, not a bird singing, not yet a light shines in any house.
