Block: Cherry
Ink: Umber/copper
Paper: Okawara
Process: I covered the block with dark umber ink and started drawing straight
with the the kinves and chisels. The grain of the wood played a big part on where
I placed my models.
Image: I wanted to achieve a sense of movement, akin to how
I feel when listening to my favorite flamenco tunes. My husband calls these type
of woodcuts "swirlie, swirlie."
