Block:     Cherry
Ink:         Mixes of red, gold, umber, green, blue, purple, copper
Paper:     Okawara and Beechgrove Paperworks hand-made (old masters beige)
Process:  This is a "puzzle" piece, in which the block was sawn in 6 pieces prior to printing. Each piece is inked separately with its separate color, the block is assembled at press. There is a rainbow mix on two pieces, which means I mixed two inks while loading the roller. The result is a color print done in one single pass.
Image:    2005 was the year of the blooming Southwest. We had rain and rain makes flowers pop up even in the most unlikely arid ground.
