Image: Childhood memories always come back when pressed for ideas. I used to have three mice named after the Three Kings. The Three Kings brought me presents every January 6th but my little friends brought me joy daily and I still remember them with a smile.
As it is often the case with childhood pets, these met a premature end when they escaped their cage and fell off the balcony onto the street. I saw them after their fall alive and well and running around in the gutter below and flew downstairs to retrieve them. When I got there the stupid building super had swept them into the "cloaca" (the sewer drain) with her witch broom.
I learned a valuable life-lesson that day: grown-ups suck, mice rule.
